IS GLOBAL WARMING REAL
Many people often ask is global warming real. There are several things that they should understand. Those factors include the greenhouse effect, natural causes, and human influence.
The greenhouse effect is known as the natural phenomenon that regulates the earth’s temperature. This happens by the clouds and greenhouse gases made up of water vapor and carbon dioxide trapping the heat in the atmosphere. The sun warms the planet and instead of the heat escaping the planet, the clouds keep the planet warm. If these greenhouse gases were to disappear, the temperature of the planet could be sixty degrees cooler. The earth is clearly dependent upon the clouds.
If you wonder is global warming real, take a look at the global average temperatures since the mid 1800’s. The earth’s average temperature used to be 57 degrees. In the past century, the global temperatures have increased a full degree. The earth’s temperature is measured by pollen records, tree rings, and air that is locked away in ancient ice.
Other factors that people can think about when they are wondering is global warming real are the natural causes. Natural causes include the changes in the earth’s position and the things like explosions that come from the sun, which warm the atmosphere.
Humans have a big influence on global warming. Although global warming is occurring by itself, humans are increasing the speed of global warming by putting gases like carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Things adding carbon monoxide into the air include buildings, vehicles, and electrical power plants.
When the earth’s temperatures increase, this causes things like ice and snow to melt. The ice and snow then turns into water, which in return raises water levels. When the water levels rise, this decreases land mass, in return decreases land areas on the earth in which we live. The less impact that we have on the temperatures of the earth increasing at the levels in which they are, the slower the earth’s temperature will rise.
Is global warming real? It is very real and we can have an impact on slowing it down. However, there are natural occurrences that we cannot stop from happening which will cause the earth to continue in it’s natural pattern of warming.
